Terms · Updated 18 August 2026 · Version 1.2

Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern access to and use of elaron.info, an editorial publication about daily nutrition and supplement habits for active men in Indonesia, edited from Jakarta. By continuing to browse the site, a reader agrees to the Terms set out below. Please also review our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, which are incorporated by reference into this document.

1. Agreement and acceptance

These Terms apply to every visitor who accesses elaron.info, whether by typing the address directly, following a search result, or arriving through a shared link. Simply reading the public pages of the site indicates that these Terms have been made available to the reader in the manner customary for editorial websites. If a reader does not agree with any part of these Terms, the appropriate response is to discontinue use of the site rather than continue browsing. Where a specific feature, such as a future newsletter sign-up, carries its own additional terms, those will be displayed clearly next to that feature and will apply alongside, not instead of, this document.

2. About Elaron and its editorial purpose

Elaron Journal publishes editorial articles about daily dietary supplement habits, food sources of common nutrients, and general lifestyle patterns relevant to active men living in Indonesia, with particular attention to the Jakarta context. The publication is edited independently and is not affiliated with any government body, hospital, or commercial supplement manufacturer, and it does not sell products directly through this site. Articles are written and reviewed by the editorial team described on the About page, drawing on published nutritional research and editorial judgement, and are intended to inform general reading rather than to replace individualised professional guidance. Nothing on this site should be read as an instruction to adopt a specific supplement or dietary change without considering personal circumstances.

3. Eligibility and permitted use

The site is intended for general adult readership and is not directed at children. A visitor may browse, read, and share links to public articles for personal, non-commercial, and educational purposes without seeking prior permission. Use of the site for any unlawful purpose, including attempts to interfere with its normal operation, is not permitted, and we reserve the right to restrict access from any source that we reasonably believe is engaged in automated scraping, denial-of-service activity, or similar disruptive behaviour. A reader who submits the contact form agrees to provide accurate contact details so that a reply can reach them, and to refrain from submitting unlawful, defamatory, or abusive content through that form.

4. Accuracy of content and no professional advice

The editorial desk works to keep articles clear, dated, and reasonably accurate at the time of publication, drawing on publicly available nutritional research and editorial review. Nutritional information can change over time as research develops, official dietary guidance is revised, or product labelling changes, and an article that was accurate when written may later require updating. Elaron may correct, revise, or remove any passage when a material inaccuracy is identified, and a correction does not create an ongoing obligation to keep every historical page permanently current. Content on this site is general editorial material, not personal advice, and a reader remains responsible for evaluating whether a given piece of general information is relevant to their own circumstances; questions requiring an individual assessment should be directed to a qualified professional rather than answered by an article on this site.

5. Intellectual property and use of content

The text, photography, layout, and Elaron branding displayed on this site belong to Elaron Journal or to the credited rights holder identified alongside the relevant material, and are protected under applicable Indonesian and international intellectual property law. A reader may view pages in a browser, print a personal copy of an article for private reference, and share a direct link to a published page, provided the source is not misrepresented as the reader's own work. Reproducing substantial portions of an article's text, republishing it on another site, or using Elaron's name or logo to imply an endorsement that has not been given, requires prior written permission from the editorial desk, obtainable by writing to [email protected]. Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of any Elaron content to a reader, regardless of how that content is accessed or shared.

6. User conduct

When interacting with the site, including through the contact form, a reader agrees not to attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the site's infrastructure, not to introduce malicious code or attempt to disrupt normal operation, and not to misrepresent their identity in a way intended to deceive the editorial team. A reader also agrees not to use the contact form to send unsolicited commercial messages unrelated to Elaron's editorial content. We reserve the right to disregard, and where necessary block the source of, any message that is abusive, clearly automated spam, or otherwise inconsistent with the purpose of the form, without that action affecting any other reader's ability to use the site normally.

7. Third-party links

Articles may reference or link to third-party sources, such as published research summaries or government dietary guidance, for the reader's convenience and to support the factual basis of an article. Elaron does not control the content of external sites and is not responsible for their accuracy, availability, or privacy practices once a reader leaves elaron.info. Inclusion of a link should not be read as an endorsement of the linked site's owner or of any product or service offered there, and readers are encouraged to review the terms and privacy notices of any external site before providing information to it.

8. Disclaimers

The site and its content are provided on an "as available" basis, and while the editorial team takes reasonable care in preparing and reviewing articles, we do not represent that every page will be free of error or available without interruption at all times. Technical issues, scheduled maintenance, or circumstances outside our reasonable control may occasionally affect availability, and we will work to restore normal access within a reasonable period when this occurs. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable Indonesian law, Elaron disclaims responsibility for indirect or consequential loss arising from reliance on general editorial content, while nothing in this section is intended to exclude any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

9. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Elaron's aggregate liability arising from a reader's use of the site is limited to matters directly connected to our own conduct in operating elaron.info, rather than extending to decisions a reader independently makes based on general editorial content. This limitation applies whether a claim is framed in contract, in tort, or on another legal basis, and applies consistently across all readers regardless of where they access the site from. Nothing in this section limits any right that Indonesian consumer protection law grants to a reader and cannot be waived by agreement, and readers with specific concerns about a particular article should use the correction request process described in section 11 rather than rely solely on this clause.

10. Indemnification

A reader who submits content through the contact form, or who otherwise interacts with the site in a way that causes loss to Elaron through a breach of these Terms, agrees to reasonably cooperate with us in addressing that loss, for example by promptly correcting a factual error the reader introduced through a misleading submission. This clause is intended to reflect ordinary fair dealing between a publication and its readers rather than to impose an open-ended obligation, and it does not require a reader to bear costs arising from Elaron's own editorial decisions.

11. Governing law, corrections, and dispute resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia, without regard to conflict-of-law principles that would apply another jurisdiction's law. If a reader believes an article contains a factual error, the fastest route to a correction is to write to [email protected] describing the specific passage and the basis for the requested change; we aim to acknowledge a correction request within 5 business days and to provide a substantive response, including any correction made or the reasoning for not making one, within 30 calendar days. Where a dispute cannot be resolved informally through this process, the parties agree that the competent courts of Jakarta, Indonesia, will have jurisdiction, without prejudice to any mandatory right a reader may have to bring a claim before a court or authority in their own country of residence.

12. Termination of access

We may restrict or terminate a specific visitor's ability to use interactive features of the site, such as the contact form, where there is a reasonable basis to believe these Terms have been breached, for example through repeated abusive submissions. Termination of access to an interactive feature does not affect a reader's ability to view the site's public editorial content, since that content remains generally available in the same way as any other published material. A reader who believes access has been restricted in error may write to [email protected] to request a review of that decision.

13. Severability and entire agreement

If any provision of these Terms is found by a competent court to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force, and the unenforceable provision will be read as narrowly as necessary to make it valid while preserving its original intent as closely as possible. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy referenced above, constitute the entire agreement between a reader and Elaron regarding use of the site, superseding any earlier understanding on the same subject, and no failure by Elaron to enforce a provision on one occasion should be read as a waiver of the right to enforce it later.

14. Changes to these Terms and revision log

We may revise these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in how the site operates or in applicable law, and any material revision will be reflected in the "Updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after a revision takes effect indicates acceptance of the updated Terms, and a reader who disagrees with a material change should discontinue use of the site rather than continue browsing under terms they do not accept.
